Agriturismo Grondola in Lunigiana, Tuscany is situated in the Northern part of Tuscany. This farmhouse offers just a few pitches under pine and chestnut trees with wooden picnic tables. There are also 3 apartments for up to 12 people, so the place never really gets crowded. You can enroll on a two-day art and painting course, visit nearby medieval villages or drive to the Ligurian sea, which is 40 mins away.

Camping Park Albatros
This wonderfully situated campsite is nestled within a pine forest and is only metres from the Etruscan coastline. The main pool is encircled with sun loungers where you can relax while watching the children enjoy themselves in the pool. All 70 plots are on the grounds of a villa that has been turned into a hotel. Completely surrounded by Nature, with flowers and pine trees all around, thanks to the fresh air and the wide choice of facilities at your disposal, the entire campsite is more like “a hotel in the open air” rather than a campsite.

Barco Reale camp site is located on a hill in the middle of pine trees and oak forests, and offers stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. For all our guests there is a 1200m2 huge swimming pool paradise with a Jacuzzi, slides and waterfalls. The beautiful Tuscan beaches are golden yellow and the blue Mediterranean Sea is just 2 km away, this perfect beach and camping holiday! From camping Le Capanne you can easily reach the most beautiful and typical towns of Tuscany: Volterra, the ancient Etruscan town, San Gimignano and its medieval architecture, Siena the town famous for its Palio and Pisa and its “Leaning Tower” known all over the world. Driving southwards you can discover several beautiful small towns, such as Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Baratti, Populonia, Piombino, Punta Ala and the wonderful Isle of Elba.
Kokopelli Camping, Abruzzo is a new kid on the block, however, they are already very popular and at the time of writing this post the camping site was fully booked for a month in advance. This camping doesn’t have marked pitches or electricity and can accommodate up to 10 tents. Guests can just pick a place they like and set up under the olive trees. The English couple who run Kokopelli are big outdoor enthusiasts and can suggest many activities nearby, such as hiking, rock climbing, canoeing. Prices start at €10 per person. You can also rent their beautiful bell tents or an old retired camper for extra comfort.
