Bryce Canyon National Park offers some gorgeous camping options for those toting a tent or pulling an RV. Reserve your Bryce Canyon campsite right away! The park has two campgrounds, North and Sunset, located in close proximity to the visitor center, Bryce Canyon Lodge and the geologic wonder that is the Bryce Amphitheater. Both have restrooms with flush toilets, and drinking water.There is plenty of area lodging too, from economy-style motels to luxury hotels. Ruby’s Inn is the closest lodge to the canyon rim and offers private access to the national park but you can also set up camp in the surrounding Dixie National Forest or Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, or find welcoming accommodations in gateway towns along Scenic Byway 12, from Panguitch to Torrey. You can even stay at a working Old West dude ranch in Antimony as part of your complete outdoor adventure at Bryce Canyon. North Campground is closest to the general store. It has 107 sites in 4 loops; A, B, C, D. At least one loop is open year round. There is no sewer, water, or electrical hook-ups available. Just south of the campground there is a dump station available for a small fee of $2. Cost is $15 per site/per night.
RV Park Campground at Ruby’s Inn
Staying at the Campground and RV Park at Ruby’s Inn is a great opportunity for visitors to stay in a forest setting near Bryce Canyon National Park (1/2 mile). Bring your own RV or camper, stay in an authentic Indian Tipi, or rent a cozy cabin. Each cabin contains two double bed sized mattresses in a bunk-bed layout. The cabins also include log furniture table and benches, electric lighting and outlets, and will easily accommodate four people. Bedding not furnished. The tipi’s come in two different sizes. Both sizes are spacious and will accommodate up to 6 or 8 individuals respectively. The tipi’s are located amidst the ponderosa pines for the feeling of the rugged outdoors.
This campground is closest to the best hiking trails, which begin and end at Sunset Point. It has 101 sites in 3 loops; A, B, & C. All sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted. Two wheelchair-accessible sites are located in Loop A. There is no sewer, water or electrical hook-ups available. A dump station is available at North Campground for a $2 use fee. Cost is $15 per site/per night.
Bryce Canyon Pines – Campgrounds
If you enjoy roughing it underneath the stars or sleeping in a tent, Bryce Canyon Pines is the place for you. The campground is surrounded by pine trees providing shade and comfort. Each site includes a fire pit and a picnic table. Access to restrooms and hot showers is provided to guests staying in the campgrounds.
